Rubin Holland scored the first two tries of the game with carbon copy efforts as Connor Winfield provided the assists for Holland to crash and spin his way over the line in unstoppable fashion. Jordan Green adding the two point on both occasions, to give Rangers an early 12 point lead.

Bury Broncos then hit back as an error from Tyrone Chipchase resulted in a scramble for the loose ball, won by Danny Kelly to breathe life into his side against a now dominant Rangers. Harry Coleman reliable with the boot pulled the deficit to just one try.

Rangers would get the last laugh before half time as Tyrone Chipchase released Max Horsfall from a scrum play and the big centre went over the line untouched, Green unable to add the extras on this occasion.
