Non-Curriculum Delivery

Manchester Rangers Community coaches work closely with schools and local community club East Manchester Rangers ARLFC to develop the sport at junior level. Signposting local children to local community clubs will create a sustainable sporting environment for children of all ages.

Our non–curriculum delivery package offers multi-sport breakfast and after school clubs as well as dinner hour engagement. The focus of non-curriculum delivery is to encourage and promote a healthy and active lifestyle from an early age, as well as developing key social skills. Sports activities help in the development of:

  • Respect, discipline, teamwork and communication
  • Core physical movement skills such as balance, agility, throwing, catching and evasion

A 10 year, City wide development plan has been put in to place to ensure that Rugby League becomes a permanent feature at grass roots level in Manchester. We are working closely with Schools, community partners, and National Governing Bodies such as The RFL and The RFU to implement this plan to the highest standard possible.
