Manchester Rangers Men’s should be “fully battle hardened in time for the opening game of the season” according to head coach Steve Molloy Rangers Head Coach Steve Molloy believes his charges will have a great chance of improving on last year’s 9th place finish.
Molloy recalled his players to pre-season early in preparation for 2015, in what is going to be a ‘massive’ year for the club.
“We started off last season on the back-foot with key players missing for the opening 5 or 6 fixtures and it was always going to be a tough year in what is a very competitive league” he went on to say “I see 2015 being very different for the club, we have got some new playing personnel to add to the current squad and we are still on the lookout for more players”
These sentiments are echoed by senior players who believe that this year’s pre-season plans will be beneficial to all who are involved with the club.
Rangers Second Rower Joe Regan believes that with a good pre-season behind them, there is no reason why the team can’t finish in the play-off spots come the end of the season.
“I know that the lads have been really enjoying pre-season and Steve and his Staff have got a really good pre-season programme planned for us”
“Preparation is a key component in sport, and with good preparation we will be firing on all cylinders in time for our first league game”
