Welcome to the Community section of Manchester Rangers RLFC
The Manchester Rangers Community department is responsible for all community sports and educational activities on behalf of Manchester Rangers Rugby League Football Club. Using the power of sport, in particular Rugby League, to educate, motivate and inspire the local and wider community.
Manchester Rangers Community Coaches deliver various Rugby League based activity as part of the clubs community development plan. We currently work in partnership with Manchester City Council offering high quality coaching to primary school children as part of the Active Schools programme.
Thanks to a partnership with Network Rail and PDF Sports LTD, during the first quarter of 2015 we will work with over of 5,000 primary, secondary, college and university students throughout Manchester and with support from local businesses, partners and funding bodies, we hope to grow this figure further over the coming months and years.
Manchester Rangers are aiming to develop a community club to play out of state of the art facilities at Belle Vue Sports Village. As part of this, Manchester Rangers Coaches will be working with The RFL to deliver Satellite programmes to children that are in Year 7 (High School) from September 2015 – February 2016.
