Manchester Rangers Reserves welcomed Rylands Sharks to Belle Vue Sports Village for a crucial survival game this weekend.
Rangers Reserves started the game at pace when long term absentee Joe Walker got a score on his return. Tyrone Chipchase breaking free on a kick return with good support from debutant Ben Calverley made in roads into the Rylands half. On the next play the ball was worked to Ulugbek Djurabekov who found Walker on the edge, showing a good step and strength to beat the Rylands defence and crash over. Oli Roby unsuccessful with the conversion.
Rangers Reserves then put their foot to the pedal as Dougie Saya crashed over from close range then Tyrone Parsonage and Connor Winfield showed great understanding as they linked to put Tyrone Chipchase through a gap to race away and round the Sharks Full Back. Oli Roby converting both tries to give Manchester a 16 point lead.
The onslaught didn’t stop there as the returning Chris Allen got in on the act after busting through weak Sharks defence before Tyrone Chipchase once again showed his speed and power to break through and find Connor Winfield supporting on his inside. Two more conversions from Oli Roby gave Rangers Reserves a 28 points to nil lead.
Rylands would have the last say of the first half as the ball was worked wide to Aaron Holliday who squoze over in the corner to score, conversion unsuccessful

The second half was all Rangers as the try scoring starting early on, Djurabekov with his first try for the club. Rylands bringing the ball from their line spilled it
forwards, and Djurabekov was the quickest to react before racing 30m to score. Oli Roby missing the conversion
There were 3 more tries for the Rangers Resverves as Rubin Holland popped up on the left edge, before Aaron Crielly crashed over and Connor Winfield fired a long pass to Ryan Gilks to score in the corner with all 3 conversions missed the Manchester side had put the game to bed.
Rangers Reserves showed a ruthless streak as they kicked on against the Warrington based Rylands, Connor winfield completing his hat trick in typical style with long range scoots before Tyrone Chipchase displayed his pace once again to complete his brace.
