Manchester Rangers recent run of form has seen them catapult up the league rankings into second place, a position which seemed unlikely with Rangers poor start to the year, winning just 1 from 4 games.

Leigh East currently sit in 6th position and will be sure to provide a tough test for the Rangers when they meet at Regional Arena. In the last game, Leigh came out on top by 22 points to 6 and Rangers will be looking to turn around that deficit

Rangers Assistant Coach, Bob Marsden, spoke about the upcoming game

‘We’re a different side since the last game with Leigh, not personnel wise, but in our structures and how we play. We’re not thinking about  that last result because this week is a different game and we will approach it as any game we do.

We’ve got a few troops back on board recently, we’re hopefully nearing a full strength squad but as always, there’s people missing for one reason or another. We expect to turn in a good performance this week and hopefully that will be enough to pick up the result. We’re pushing hard for promotion now and we need to win every week if we are to achieve this.’
